Lakeside View Bathroom Makeover

Solution

Top to bottom, this split-room bath overlooking Lake Windward got a fresh new start. First we removed the old vanities, countertops, carpet, the bathtub with surrounding cabinet housing, and the tile in and around the stand-in shower. Some plumbing needed to be rerouted along with some minor electrical work done before tile floor could be installed in the larger area of the bathroom. The new tile scheme in the stand-in shower was also completed just before we set the new custom-built cabinets that we fabricated on site for our customer. New wainscot was installed all around the walls to add to the Cape Cod theme. However, the centerpiece of this room is now the Victoria Albert ball & claw tub that rests with a panoramic view of the water.
